Originally released in 1990, the Gel-Lyte 3 features a split tongue designed to combat slippage during long distance runs. Californian retailer Bait teamed up with ASICS for this ‘Teal Dragon’ model in 2011, re-releasing it in 2014 to celebrate the store’s second anniversary. The runner's turquoise upper features a suede, smooth nubuck and perforated nubuck build with white Tiger stripes and red accents. It also boasts 3M reflective detailing on the toe and Gel cushioning in the midsole.
