As a nod to the second Grand Slam of the year, the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 ‘French Open’ is inspired by Andre Agassi’s on-court apparel at the 1990 French Open final. Featuring a spray-paint graphic with red stripes on the lateral side to mimic the design of Agassi’s shirt, black denim accents line the medial side to reference his memorable acid-washed shorts. The shoe also gives the upper a premium leather application that extends to the sockliner.
