The Air Max Plus was one of the first Nike designs that used the Tuned Air System for cutting-edge cushioning. The Air Max Plus 'Varsity Red Black' features a Varsity Red mesh colorway with wavy TPU overlays across the shoe. The low top also sports black leather accents along the mudguard and eyestay, a jeweled Swoosh, additional black details on the inner lining, and a TPU midfoot arch.
