The Air Max 97 HAL ‘Hot Air’ features a mesh, knit, and suede upper in black and Fatigue Olive. Though the colors are muted, select velcro patches on the tongue can accommodate Bright Orange and Crimson add-ons to brighten up the design. The shoe also boasts Fatigue Olive Swoosh branding on the medial side, in addition to a full-length and exposed Air Max unit on the white rubber midsole.
