Originally inspired by ripples in a pool of water, the Nike Air Max 97 gets a contemporary update in the Air Max 97 Ultra 17 'Anthracite' sneaker. Released in August 2017, the Anthracite was one of the first colorways to launch. At the time of its release, this iteration was the lightest Air Max 97 to date thanks to its seamless knit jacquard upper that's accented with synthetic overlays. The signature full-length visible Air Unit sits below the sculpted white midsole and finishes the iconic design.
