Inspired by the classic design of the Air Max 1, Nike released the Air Max 1 Golf shoe in 'University Red' in January of 2019. The golf shoe is dressed in synthetic overlays with durable, debossed eyestays. The University Red colorway is modeled similarly to the 1987 original. The visible Max Air unit reinforces the Phylon foam midsole while being supported by the spikeless outsole, made to wear on multi-terrain surfaces.
