Originally dropping in 2011 as part of the Nike Basketball All-Star collection, the retro silhouette sports a glossy red synthetic upper with lenticular detailing on the quarter panel and tongue. The latter is marked with 'West' in a nod to the NBA Western Conference. 'LA' and '2011' appear on the lace dubraes, while four black rubber buttons embedded in the heel are reminiscent of a video game controller, signifying KD's love of gaming. Underfoot, a red-tinged translucent rubber outsole wraps up a lightweight Phylon midsole, featuring a forefoot Zoom Air unit and a TPU shank plate.
