Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto partnered with adidas to explore different juxtapositions of materials as they relate to comfort and performance. The Y-3 Retro Boost features a black mesh upper with a matching neoprene throat. The sneaker also boasts synthetic detailing, white accents on the eyestay, Three-Stripes branding on the heel, a speckled mudguard, and an energy-returning Boost sole unit.
