Drawing inspiration from Native American sandals, the Nike Air Huarache was designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1991. To update the classic silhouette, Nike released a ladies-only colorway. The Women's Air Huarache Run 'Dusted Clay' features a leather, spandex, neoprene, and thermoplastic Dusted Clay upper with a classic lace-up closure and an Air-Sole unit at the white Phylon midsole. The sneaker also sports a Duralon forefoot and the classic Huarache heel strap.
