The adidas Superstar, designed by Horst Dassler, first debuted in 1969 as an all-leather basketball sneaker. This 'Active Red' edition was released in July 2019 and stays true to the classic. It features light touches to the overall design, including the addition of a brilliant red hue on the heel, tongue branding and Three-Stripes. 'Superstar' lettering arrives on the sidewall, debossed for a subtle effect. A hallmark of the Superstar, a rubber shell toe is included for durability.
