Nike created the Field General in 1982 for football players, characterized by a nubbed rubber outsole for traction on the gridiron. The minimalist style re-emerged in 2024, maintaining the profile of the original with an updated textile upper and leather mudguard. Underfoot, the foam midsole is an exact reproduction of the iconic ’80s design.
