The Wmns React Element 55 'Magpie' is one half of a his & hers pack that Nike released on August 3rd, 2019 in anticipation of China's Qixi festival. Updated with an iridescent heel clip and red graphic in back, this sneaker pays homage to the heroic birds of an ancient Chinese myth. According to legend, two lovers separated by a river were able to meet for one day a year thanks to a flock of magpies that formed a bridge between them.
