adidas Originals adds to their ever-expanding collection of NMD’s with the special-edition NMD_R1 'Japan Colorblock' sneaker. Part of an ongoing series of Japan-themed shoes, this April 2019 release revamps the silhouette with heritage design details. A Core Black knit textile upper is detailed with contrasting Three-Stripes branding and a heel counter that features a layer of protective red taping. Lush Blue taping with Japanese characters is applied on the rear midsole plug with graphic text embellishing the forefoot plug. A responsive Boost midsole dons graphic stripes for a final touch.
