The Air Afrique x Nike Air Max RK61 'Black' presents the first collaboration between the Swoosh and the Paris-based creative collective. The black leather upper features a sleek, minimalist design, highlighted by laces hidden behind a zippered sheath. The stylish dress shoe is riddled with aviation-inspired details that nod to Air Afrique, the defunct Pan-African airline founded in 1961. They include a green jacquard sockliner that recreates the pattern used on the airline's seating, a Stadium Green Air-sole unit inspired by a jet engine, and a black rubber outsole marked with 'Air Afrique' in morse code.
