In October 2019, ASICS and Hundred% introduced the co-designed Gel Kayano 5 OG 'Nasi Lemak' inspired by Malaysian cuisine at the SneakerLAH exhibition. A vibrant multicolored palette on the mesh and leather upper represents the various ingredients found in the national dish. Logos come embroidered on the tongue and heel. The sneaker is presented on a sculpted midsole equipping Gel heel cushioning and gum rubber outsole.
