French fashion designer Olivier Rousteing joined forces with NikeLab to release a special-edition Free Mercurial Flyknit, which released in June 2016 as part of the larger ‘Football Nouveau’ collection. The shoe features a black Flyknit upper offering a sock-like fit, accented with metallic gold embroidery and a matching gold zipper at the heel. A leather pull tab and gold aglets add to the luxurious feel, while a Nike Free sole unit provides flexible comfort.
