Adidas Continental 80 'Pride'
To celebrate Pride month, adidas released the Continental 80 'Pride' in May 2019. Debuting with a leather upper in an eggshell colorway, the Continental 80, is an update of the 'Continental,' a 1980s trainer. This iteration of the iconic shoe honors the LGBTQ+I community with a five-colored fabric rainbow stripe across the midfoot matching the multi-colored trefoil label on the tongue. Inside, the words 'love unites' is a reminder of one of the most foundational human needs—love.
