This Air Max Plus TN from April 2013 showcases the silhouette’s unique features—namely, the wavy TPU overlays and gradient coloring that once posed major challenges to the Nike design team. On this pair, the latter uses a bright yellow hue up top, transitioning down to green and Hyper Blue. The midsole, including the whale tail-inspired shank plate, is finished in contrasting black and white with subtle pops of Hyper Blue.
