The Air Max 97 gets an all black colorway with a full leather upper replacing the traditional mixed-material construction. The 1997 silhouette was the first of the Nike Air Max series to feature a full length Air unit. The smooth, curved design is dressed in monochrome black, topped off with black rubber outsole and laces and a small metallic Swoosh.
