Built for big kids, the 2020 reissue of the Nike Air Max 95 OG GS ‘Neon’ revives the original colorway of the groundbreaking vintage runner. The sneaker’s signature dayglow color is used to accentuate a human anatomy-inspired design, including a spine-like outsole and webbing eyelets that resemble a rib cage. Layered side panels, meanwhile, stand in for striated muscle fiber. Designer Sergio Lozano also leveraged the eye-catching hue to emphasize the sneaker’s cushioning technology, which introduced visible forefoot Air to Nike’s burgeoning Air Max franchise.
