Issued late May 2018, the Air Max 95 Essential 'Navy Blue' recreates the anatomy-inspired shoe with a summer motif featuring azure layers transitioning from light to dark. Nike designer Sergio Lozano was influenced by the body when he set out to design the original AM95. With vertical eyestay straps anchored at the midsole covered by flowing leather overlays arranged horizontally, the sneaker's construction is reminiscent of the spine, ribs and connecting musculature.
