The Air Max 1 'Pure Platinum Orange' arrived late July 2018 in a neutral colorway crafted with tonal grays and highlighted with vibrant hits at the tongue, heel and cushioning unit. After Nike designer Tinker Hatfield visited the famous Centré Pompidou in Paris with its glass facade, he was inspired to build a shoe with a similar inside-out aesthetic. The Air Max 1 was born in 1987, and has undergone thousands of remakes, including this premium version in supple leather and suede.
