Air Jordan 9 Retro DB GS 'Doernbecher'
This grade school Air Jordan 9 was designed by Oswaldo Jimenez as part of the 2012 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. The high-top’s white leather base is accented with metallic gold elements on the eyelets, contrast stitch detailing and Jumpman branding. Gold is also used on the lasered feather pattern that marks the black leather overlays, a nod to his nickname of ‘Pollito.’ His favorite number, 17, and his birthday, September 13, are featured as well, and the translucent outsole reveals splashes of green underneath—a tribute to the young designer’s hometown in Mexico.
