In October 2019, the Air Jordan 9 Retro unveiled in a design realized from a previously unreleased sample that surfaced back in 2013. The sneaker assumes a classic tricolor palette on its tumbled leather upper and striped inner bootie. A unique closure system consisting of internal support straps and a one-pull lace lock is retained. Branded by a Jumpman on the heel, the bold Air-Sole rests atop a solid rubber outsole with multidirectional patterns.
