Designed by Bruce Kilgore and originally released as a high top, the Nike Air Force 1 has been a classic since its 1982 origins as a basketball performance shoe. Since then, the low top version has also evolved into an icon. The Air Force 1 '07 'Black,' released in 2008, comes almost entirely in black, with the upper panels alternating materials. Hits of white on the laces and midsole branding add contrast.
