adidas teamed up with Berlin brand Solebox to create the Solebox x Torsion Allegra retro running shoe released in December 2012. Drawing inspiration from the original Torsion Allegra from the 90s, the retro shoe retains the neoprene bootie construction as well as a Torsion crossbar underfoot for superior energy return. A mesh inlay and toe box offer airflow to keep the foot cool and dry while suede and TPU overlays add structure and stability to maintain the integrity of each stride.
