KidSuper founder and designer Colm Dillane has solidified his reputation as one of Paris Fashion Week’s great showmen. Entering the Brooklyn designer’s universe guarantees an unpredictable experience—whether it be a comedy act, an auction, a theatrical play or appearances from legendary soccer players, namely Ronaldinho. Such grandiose unpredictability has become a label signature and this season was no different, taking attendees on a dreamlike odyssey complete with a spectacular indoor tornado. Yet below the pomp and pageantry lurked something darker underneath, hinting at a creative evolution.

Anchored by a wind installation from artist Daniel Wurtzel, the runway’s central vortex reflected Dillane’s flurry of influences.
KidSuper's collaboration with BAPE recalled Dillane's history of screen-printing tees for people lining up outside the BAPE store in NYC.
Additional highlights ranged from embroidered tailoring and faux fur jackets to collage-inspired pieces formed from scraps of fabric.

The artisans at Brazilian brand PIET created a hand-crocheted jacket and footwear for the collection.
Conceptual formalwear punctuated the designer's seasonal interpretation of colorful streetwear silhouettes.
The BAPE collaboration extended from clothing to accessories such as trucker hats.
Reflecting on the collection's debut, Dillane credited opera star Ekaterina Shelehova's haunting performance with being the emotional heartbeat of the show.
