Made in collaboration with the UK-based retailer, the size? x Vans Slip-On ‘New Wave’ celebrates the synth-heavy pop-music genre that emerged from underground clubs in the late ‘70s. The multi-print textile upper draws inspiration from seminal New Wave band Talking Heads, and the outlandish clothes they wore for a photoshoot publicizing their breakthrough third album, ‘Fear of Music.’ The record’s launch date is printed on the sneaker’s lateral midsole.
