The Nike Special Field Air Force 1 'Black Gum' is the second iteration of the Special Field Air Force 1 'Gum' that originally dropped in November of 2016. Major design differences are the inclusion of a black midsole unit and the substitution of paracord ankle straps for dual military-belt straps. Released in January of 2017, the sneaker dropped alongside a ‘Faded Olive’ variant, as well as ‘Desert Ochre’ and ‘Binary Blue’ colorways for women.
