adidas, Foot Locker and Marvel Comics joined forces to herald the publisher's 80th anniversary with two new sneakers. Released in October 2019, the Marvel x Foot Locker x AM4 '80th Anniversary Vol. 1' is replete with honorary details, including slanted 'Marvel' lettering, Three-Stripes on the midfoot and a prominent '80' printed on the heel in white. The shoe features a textile knit upper that fades from navy to red at the toe, a responsive Boost midsole and a flexible rubber outsole.
