Fashion platform Slam Jam teamed up with Converse to revamp the timeless Chuck Taylor original, launching the Slam Jam x Chuck 70 High 'Restructured' sneaker in April 2019. Translating elements from the OG edition, the silhouette reinvents the aesthetic with a two-toned canvas upper complete with obvious stitching to connect the shoe's panels. Traditional black foxing tape changes to red at the toe while a leather patch is stitched on at the ankle to reinforce the retro design.
