Boston retailer, Bodega, and Vans got nostalgic for their video-inspired collaboration, the Bodega x Authentic 'Blank Tapes' sneaker, released in February 2019. Modeled after VHS tapes, its suede and nylon upper and ComfyCush midsole is emblazoned by cassette labeling, accented by a translucent plastic tongue, a nod to the magnetic tape spool. The throwback sneaker is completed with a Bodega anti-pirating stickered footbed and a Red, Green and Blue (RGB) outsole.
