Making its debut alongside the luxury fashion house’s Spring 2021 ready-to-wear collection, the Balenciaga X-Pander ‘White’ combines retro running style with experimental cushioning. The sneaker is equipped with a suspended heel, propped up by a 40mm arch that compresses and springs back with step. An aged aesthetic is applied to the polyurethane midsole and breathable upper, crafted from pre-yellowed mesh with tonal synthetic overlays. The layered build, redolent of running shoes from the early 2000s, features a padded tongue and a pull tab at the heel for easy on and off.
