This 2008 take on the iconic Nike Air Max 1 sees the design in a black, Varsity Red and Metallic Silver palette. The design of this model closely follows original Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Max 1 from 1987, with a paneled upper, foam midsole and visible Max Air unit. For an authentic feel, the shoe is capped by rubber tread with a Waffle-inspired pattern.
