The Air Jordan IX Low returns with the ‘Pantone’ colorway that recalls Michael Jordan’s playing days at the University of North Carolina. The shoe originally released in 1993 despite Jordan’s decision to retire from basketball and play professional baseball. The AJ9 features a premium leather upper that integrates perforated panels on the quarter for increased breathability. The bottom of the outsole is etched with a multilingual pattern, including phrases like ‘independence,’ ‘freedom,’ ‘athletic’ and ‘force.’
