Since 2007, Nike and Jordan Brand have released sneakers with designs that celebrate Chinese New Year, and 2019 saw a kids'-sized Air Jordan 12 Retro TD 'Chinese New Year' 2019 as part of the collection. The glossy satin upper has a Chinese Bai Jia Yi design and a synthetic leather mudguard. Chinese lettering on the left tongue spells out ‘23’ in homage to Michael Jordan, while the right features a classic Jumpman. Below, a foam midsole provides a comfortable step.
