Released in summer 2018, the Nike Wmns Air Max 97 17 SI sneaker adds a unique twist to the wavy AM97 upper, originally inspired by water ripples. The textile upper comes in a dusty rose-pink hue, with the usual overlays replaced by a woven, macrame-like pattern. The mudguard overlay also has a new touch, as its stitching—in the same color—remains exposed. The shoe's midsole and exposed Air unit combine with a beige rubber gum sole.
