For an updated take on the Air Max 97, Nike chose to color the Wmns Air Max 97 'Nightshade Pink' rendition in South Beach-inspired hues. Inspired by the sight of a drop of water falling into a pond, the shoe retains the signature wavy upper first sketched by designer Christian Tresser. This women's shoe first stepped out in April 2019 with a breathable mesh upper and full-length Max Air cushioning.
