Facts
The Converse Weapon Hi was originally worn by Boston Celtics' star, Larry Bird and LA Lakers icon, Magic Johnson in 1986. Preserving some elements from the unforgettable hoops era, the modern 'Black White' sneaker enlists a multi-layered leather design on the upper. Padding is added to the ankle to stabilize the ride and perforations at the toe keep the foot cool and dry. Honing in on the brand, a white Star Chevron logo hits the midfoot and 'Converse' lettering shows off on the rubber midsole below.
