In collaboration with Japanese designer, Jun Takahashi, and his edgy streetwear label, Undercover, the Undercover x Chuck 70 High 'The New Warriors - Black' sneaker is a punk-inspired twist on the classic high-top All Star. Taking inspiration from Walter Hill’s 1979 cult film, The Warriors, about opposing street gangs, this March 2019 iteration takes a rugged, boot-like approach to the timeless silhouette—accenting its all-black canvas upper with oversized midfoot zippers and metal ring ornaments on the vamp and heel counter. An embroidered ‘NW’ patch stitched on the lateral ankle and ‘The New Warriors’ written across the rubber toe cap reinforce the design.
