The Nike KD 9 ‘Birds of Paradise’ colorway launched during Kevin Durant’s 2016 Nike basketball tour that took place in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Taipei. Inspired by the colorful birds-of-paradise native to New Guinea, the shoe features a black and Clear Jade Flyknit upper with Volt accents and KD branding on the heel. The vibrant low-top also comes equipped with a white sole unit sporting Clear Jade full-length Zoom Air cushioning.
