The Nike Huarache Extreme GS 'White Black' was released in early July 2019 with a kids-friendly update to the original design. Though the water-ski-inspired neoprene bootie adheres to Tinker Hatfield's vision for the adult shoe from '91, the distinctive upper overlay and back heel band are gone in favor of an adjustable midfoot strap for easier on-and-off. A breathable mesh forefoot is reinforced at the toe with no-sew synthetic skins, and the soft foam midsole cushions from underneath.
