Making its debut at the Japanese brand’s Fall/Winter 2022 runway show in Tokyo, the Comme des Garçons Homme Plus x Nike Air Max 97 ‘Black’ updates Christian Tresser’s original design with a weathered aesthetic. The upper features a black mesh base with tonal leather overlays treated to a distressed finish that suggests prolonged wear and tear. The sockliner features 'Comme des Garçons Homme Plus' surrounded by a series of Swooshes. Underpinning the sneaker is solid black polyurethane midsole, fitted with a visible Max Air unit that runs the length of the matching black rubber outsole.
