The #44 Deck Shoe, now known as the Vans Authentic sneaker, made its debut in 1966 as the brand opened its first store in Anaheim, California. On its first day, 12 orders for the Authentic were placed at the shop and made in-store where they were picked up later that same day. This edition of the classic skate shoe is updated in a ‘Cress Green’ colorway with an ‘Off The Wall’ bumper logo at the heel. The signature canvas upper sits atop a cushioned footbed and a vulcanized rubber waffle outsole.
