The Nike Air Max 90 Current was released in 2008 as a technical update to the iconic runner designed by Tinker Hatfield. The Current comes replete with contemporary engineering, including a molded heel-locking component and a Nike Free sole, which was first introduced to runners in 2005. This rendition hearkens to the classic AM90 by mimicking its OG colorway—white, grey, black and Infrared—in a mix of leather, nubuck and synthetics.
