The Nike Air Max 270 Bowfin ‘Triple Black’ debuted in October 2018 dressed in a black and Anthracite color palette. Inspired by the Bowfin fish that can breathe on land and in water, the sneaker is a hybrid between a trail shoe and water moccasin. The water-resistant textile and synthetic-leather upper adjusts with toggle laces, while the Max Air unit is Nike's largest to date at the time of release. An exaggerated mudwall and rugged traction pattern complete the design.
