Air Jordan 1 Mid Wings GS 'NYC Subway'
A product of the Jordan Wings Design Program, the Air Jordan 1 Mid Wings GS 'NYC Subway' pays tribute to the hardworking staff of the MTA, the largest public transit system in North America. The mid-top utilizes a water-resistant leather upper in neutral grey tones. Reflective detailing coats the Swoosh and tongue tag, featuring a Nike train line graphic. A woven label affixed to the lateral collar reads 'Do Not Lean on Doors,' while 'WINGS' is spelled out across the back heel in a multicolor design that references the various NYC train lines. Heartfelt messages include 'Always Go Forward' printed on the lateral toe and 'Thank You For All You Do' inscribed on the interior tongue. Nodding to the floors of subway stations and trains, multicolor speckles cover the midsole, reinforced underfoot by a grey rubber outsole.
