When the original Nike Air Force 1 was released in 1982 it was the first example of Air cushioning applied for the hardwood, designed by Bruce Kilgore. This 2005 model features a black upper with Neutral Grey and Varsity Red accents, incorporating an adjustable ankle strap, forefoot perforations and an AF1 emblem at the heel. Below, Air-Sole cushioning is reprised for a responsive feel.
