GOAT and Favela Worldwide Took Over Chinatown for All-Star Weekend
Inside the opening party at Café Tondo, featuring sets by Parris Goebel, BNYX and more.
All-Star Weekend 2026 unofficially began with GOAT and Favela Worldwide’s opening party in Downtown Los Angeles. Held at Chinatown’s Café Tondo, friends and family packed the Mexico City-inspired café to catch a rotating lineup of DJs, including Parris Goebel, BNYX, Bloodyclip, PZ’, D33J, Jheri Mayne, Sophie Gray, Rozay and Joaquin Bartra.
The party spilled far out into the street and parking lot, creating a Blade Runner-like scene of red neon lights, towering billboards and elevated light rail tracks. A livestream of the interior appeared directly above the café, capturing the high-energy atmosphere inside as trains rumbled overhead. The drink menu riffed on the calendar, featuring cocktails inspired by both Valentine’s Day and the mid-season celebration of NBA superstars.
Influential figures moved among the crowd, from Guapdad 4000 and DRAM to Yves Tumor, Buddy and Sunny Suljic. Originally planned to wrap up at 1 AM, the party dragged on until the early morning hours, creating a perfect transition to Saturday’s events. Shot by Maxamillion Polo, revisit the night below.
