The New Balance XC-72 ‘Storm Blue’ dresses the retro-inspired lifestyle runner in a blend of vibrant hues and neutral accents. An oversized ‘N’ logo in off-white leather dominates the upper, featuring a light teal base with a reinforced heel overlay in black suede. Blue suede overlays are applied to the forefoot, along with a vertical strip of yellow leather that runs down the toe box. The sunny hue is repeated on a molded ergonomic tongue marked with NB branding. Plush cushioning is provided by an EVA midsole, its sidewalls partially wrapped in a split lugged outsole built with gum rubber on the lateral side and black rubber on the medial side.
